MapData Maps and cutouts can be simply integrated into your own products. We can deliver a complete map or any defined geographical area with an index so that the visual information with all its details receives a logical connection. Contents the MapData-Database The MapData-Database contains information for the following mapping bases:
The MapServer The MapServer is mounted onto an Oracle 8i Spatial-Database. All the data is geo-referenced and as such may be projected to any known set of projection perimeters. The mapping information is stored as Vector (Meta format) and as such may be converted to any known data format (Bitmap or Vector) for MAC or PC. A Place name index is linked to the Database and so may be generated from any defined cutout. The Database structure also allows the linking of any other attributes to the mapping information (e.g. for Navigation, GIS).
![]() Swiss Database Information The Swiss Database covers the scales 1:200 000 to 1:350 000. The mapping content is also linked to the scale; the larger the scale the more information is represented. Below are a few examples:
